A £340 win on a Friday night spin raises one question: how fast does the money reach your bank? Over three weeks I tested the FantasyBet withdrawal process with PayPal, a Visa debit card and a bank transfer. Payout speed ranged from under three hours to three working days. You can cut your first payout from days to hours by finishing a few steps before you click Withdraw.
The FantasyBet Withdrawal Process, Step by Step
Work through these seven steps in order. On my first attempt I skipped step 2 and lost a day.
Step 1: Check Your Bonus and Wagering
Open Bonus History in your account before you go near the cashier. An active bonus locks the bonus balance and any winnings from it until you clear the wagering. A £20 bonus with 35x wagering means you wager £700 before you can withdraw. Slots count 100% toward that total. Table games count 10%, so £700 staked on blackjack clears only £70 of the requirement.
- Forfeit option: If you want your cash now, you can forfeit the bonus and any winnings from it. FantasyBet shows the amount you will lose before you confirm.
Step 2: Complete Identity Verification (KYC)
FantasyBet checks your identity before your first withdrawal, in line with anti-money laundering rules. Upload your documents under Verification in your account settings before you request a payout.
- Photo ID: a passport or UK photocard driving licence, scanned in colour.
- Proof of address: a utility bill, council tax letter or bank statement from the last three months, showing the name and address on your account.
- Proof of payment method: for card withdrawals, a photo of the front of your card with the middle digits covered. Keep the first six and last four digits visible. PayPal needs no extra proof.
My document check took 22 hours on a Tuesday. Upload everything on the day you register and you skip that wait.
Step 3: Open the Withdraw Tab
Log in, open Cashier and select Withdraw. Every outgoing payment sits there, along with your pending requests.
Step 4: Choose Your Payout Method
FantasyBet pays out to the method you deposited with. Say you deposited £100 by PayPal and £50 by debit card: your first £100 of winnings goes back to PayPal. The cashier shows only the methods in your deposit history.
- PayPal: the fastest route in my tests.
- Visa or Mastercard debit card: familiar, but slower. Credit cards are banned for gambling in the UK, so you will not see them.
- Bank transfer (Faster Payments or Open Banking): pays into your current account in pounds, with no card details needed.
Pay by Phone deposits cannot receive withdrawals. If you topped up with Boku, you withdraw to a debit card or bank account instead.
Step 5: Enter the Amount
The minimum withdrawal is £10. My account showed a maximum of £5,000 per request on PayPal and bank transfer. Your limit can differ, so check the Withdraw tab for your own figure.
- Split payouts: You can withdraw part of your balance and leave the rest to play with. Each request must meet the £10 minimum.
Step 6: Confirm Your Request
Check the amount and the method, then press Confirm Withdrawal. Your request moves to Pending while FantasyBet's finance team reviews it. Pending lasted between 1 hour 50 minutes and 3 hours 10 minutes across my PayPal and bank requests. Once FantasyBet marks the request Approved, it has processed your withdrawal and the payment goes to your provider.
Step 7: Receive Your Money
You probably want one number for how long FantasyBet takes to withdraw, but the answer depends on the method. These are my results, including the pending stage.
- PayPal: 2 hours 47 minutes, 3 hours 20 minutes and 4 hours 5 minutes across three requests. My £85 FantasyBet withdrawal processed in under three hours and the PayPal notification arrived 12 minutes later.
- Bank transfer: approval took about three hours. The money reached my current account the same evening once, and by the next morning the other two times.
- Debit card: two to three working days. A Saturday request cleared pending in six hours, but the money did not reach my card until Tuesday.
Weekends add the most delay for card payments, because your bank does not settle them until Monday. Live chat answered my status question in under two minutes on a Sunday evening, and the agent confirmed the card payment had left FantasyBet.
Withdrawal Limits, Fees and Timelines
The numbers below come from my own account. Your Cashier page shows your exact figures.
- Minimum: £10 per request.
- Maximum: £5,000 per request on PayPal and bank transfer in my account.
- Fees: FantasyBet charged me nothing on any of my withdrawals. A non-sterling bank account may add a currency conversion charge, so ask your bank.
- Pending period: expect about two to three hours before FantasyBet approves a request. Verification adds up to 24 hours on your first withdrawal.
- Total FantasyBet withdrawal times: under five hours for PayPal, same day to next morning for bank transfer, two to three working days for debit cards.
Keeping Your Withdrawals Smooth
- Match your names: Withdraw to a PayPal account, card or bank account in your own name. A mismatch freezes the request until support clears it.
- Verify early: Finishing KYC before you win removes the longest delay from your first payout.
- Clear or forfeit bonuses: Finish the wagering or forfeit the bonus before you request a payout. An active bonus blocks the withdrawal.
- Contact live chat: If a request sits in Pending for more than 24 hours, ask support for the status. Have your username and the amount ready.
Example Withdrawal Scenario
My first withdrawal shows how much your preparation matters. I requested £120 by PayPal at 10:05 on a Tuesday without having uploaded any documents.
Step 1: Request. I opened Cashier, selected Withdraw and chose PayPal, the method I deposited with. The £10 minimum was no issue and the cashier showed no fee.
Step 2: Verification. FantasyBet asked for ID and proof of address. I uploaded my driving licence and a bank statement at 10:20.
Step 3: Document check. FantasyBet approved the documents at 08:15 on Wednesday, about 22 hours later.
Step 4: Payout. The request cleared pending at 11:50 and the PayPal notification landed at 12:03. The total came to 26 hours.
My second request, for £60, took 2 hours 47 minutes because my documents were already on file.
